Michigan EPIC began a new project for National Heritage Academies (NHA) producing world history and geography materials for K-6 students. These interactive, web-based materials include animation, vocalized text, original art and other multimedia. NHA educators use these materials to teach such units as Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, Mesopotamia, American Presidents, World Religions, among others.

These units allow comprehensive learning within a classroom environment, where the educator presents the materials using an LCD projector. This method allows the material to be presented at a pace the educator can control, and allows discussions with students.
